The paid, one-time-purchase Image Import DLC turns JPG, PNG, and WebP files on your computer into puzzles using the same 100–2,000,000-piece settings. Your images are processed on your computer and are never uploaded. When Steam Cloud is enabled, it syncs your saved progress, which records where the image is on your PC — not the image itself.

Is the base game free?

Yes. PUZIGO is free, and the 45-image Starter Pack is a separate free DLC installed with the game.

How are my images handled?

Your images are processed by PUZIGO on your computer and are never uploaded. When Steam Cloud is enabled, it syncs your saved progress, which records where the image is on your PC — not the image itself.

Is Image Import a subscription?

No. It is a one-time purchase.

Does PUZIGO connect to the internet?

When you complete a puzzle, PUZIGO sends your Steam ID and basic completion data (piece count and completion time) to our server so that Steam achievements can be granted. Nothing else is collected, and you can play fully offline — achievements are granted the next time you are online. The one exception is when a save cannot be read: PUZIGO can then send a short diagnostic report, but only if you agree, and it contains no file names and no text you typed.
